No flavorings, no shortcuts — only lotus, tea, and time.
Bach Diep lotus is picked at 4–5 a.m., while the buds are still closed and most fragrant.
The fragrant anthers — "lotus rice" — are separated from each flower entirely by hand.
A layer of tea, a layer of lotus rice; scented and dried seven times over 21 days.
The finished tea is sealed airtight, keeping the lotus fragrance until it reaches your cup.
Every dawn in lotus season, our little neighborhood by West Lake gathers amid a carpet of pink petals. Elder artisans — keepers of a craft passed down through generations — separate the fragrant lotus anthers by hand, gently, as if afraid of breaking the scent.
No machine can replace this: one flower yields only a pinch of fragrant white "lotus rice", and a kilogram of tea needs a thousand such flowers. Every Minh Tri tea box carries the work of many hands and many early mornings.

Our family house sits in alley 416 Lac Long Quan, Tay Ho district — just minutes from the Bach Diep lotus ponds of West Lake. Flowers picked at dawn are scented the very same morning, capturing a freshness that lotus tea from anywhere else cannot match.
In lotus season (May–August) the whole family works from sunrise: picking lotus, separating the fragrant anthers, filling the flowers with tea. Visitors are always welcome to watch — and to taste the tea for free before buying.

🏆 Pride of Vietnam
Minh Tri West Lake lotus tea is honored to be chosen as a gift at international exchange and cooperation events — bringing the fragrance of Hanoi lotus to friends around the world.
It is scented with Bach Diep lotus — a hundred-petal variety grown only in the ponds around West Lake, Hanoi, with a fragrance no other lotus can match. We use exclusively West Lake flowers, picked at dawn and brought straight to our house for scenting the same morning.
Keep it in the freezer — it stays fragrant for 6 months. Brew straight from frozen, no defrosting needed. The premium scented tea keeps 12 months in its sealed container in a cool, dry place.
We ship nationwide in Vietnam, and many international guests carry our vacuum-sealed teas home as gifts — they travel well. Message us on WhatsApp/Zalo 0345 341 344 and we will help you arrange it.
